March 11, Thursday in East Campus Union.   On casting a nomological net around the construct of social capital, which in some ways takes us back to the original intent for this group: "Adding analytical precision" to the social capital construct. We seek refined analytical machinery to make the construct the most meaningful and useful for helping ensure advances in scientific knowledge about this particular phenomenon.

April and May events were canceled.  The next meeting of the Interest Group will be in September, 2004.  Please contact either Linda Price or Gary Lynne for suggested programs.  In the mean time, consider contributing ideas to the Listserv in order to keep the dialogue about social capital going within the group!
